Ground Team

The Ground Team consists of students in each residential house who are tasked with making the students around them more aware, active, and engaged in campus issues. To accomplish this, members of the Ground Team have the following responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the Student Body President and Vice President of Public Relations on a monthly basis to both strategize and discuss previous findings.
  • Actively informing students around them about campus issues and Student Union initatives through word-of-mouth, flyers, online posts (i.e. facebook, blogs, twitter), etc and reporting these efforts to the Vice President of Public Relations.
  • Actively soliciting feedback from students around them regarding campus issues and Student Union initatives in both quantatative and qualatative ways and reporting this information to Student Body President.
  • Referring students around them to places where they can learn more about campus issues and Student Union iniatives. These places include but are not limited to the Student Union website, the Student Union offices in the DUC, the Student Union twitter, and the Student Union facebook page.
